Some of the best learning happens when we leave the classroom behind. Our Tuesday Field Trips & Events give homeschooling families the opportunity to explore, discover, and experience the world together through hands-on adventures that make learning unforgettable. Throughout the year we visit museums, historical sites, working farms, state parks, science centers, local businesses, nature preserves, seasonal attractions, and many hidden gems across North Georgia and beyond.

These are family experiences, not drop-off events. Parents or guardians attend alongside their registered children, giving families the opportunity to learn together while building friendships with other homeschooling families who share a love of adventure. Whether we're stepping inside a working courtroom, hiking to a waterfall, learning from park rangers, meeting local artisans, or exploring places most people never get to see, every trip is designed to inspire curiosity and create memories that last long after the day is over.

Our Thursday Enrichment Classes are where curiosity meets creativity! Designed for students from Kindergarten through High School, these hands-on classes encourage children to explore new interests, discover hidden talents, and develop practical skills in an engaging, supportive environment. From STEM experiments and engineering challenges to cooking, archaeology, nature studies, history, art, public speaking, life skills, and so much more, every class is built around learning by doing.

Classes are offered in three-month sessions, and each new session features an entirely fresh lineup of topics, so there is always something new to discover throughout the school year. Students register only for the classes that interest them, creating a personalized enrichment experience that's as unique as they are.

Thursday classes, 2 hour classes plus between class if chosen for a full day effect, are designed as a drop-off program, giving students the opportunity to build independence while parents enjoy a little free time. Parents are always welcome to remain on-site in our designated parent areas if they prefer, but only registered students participate in classes. Explore the calendar below to see what's coming next—we think you'll find it hard to choose just one!

Homeschooling is about more than academics—it's about building a community, making memories, and sharing experiences that families will treasure for years to come. That's why, in addition to our weekly programs, we offer a variety of special events, seasonal celebrations, educational workshops, family socials, service projects, and exciting travel opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it's a day exploring Chattanooga, a weekend discovering the rich history and culture of Cherokee, a family getaway to Dollywood, or one of our many other adventures across the Southeast, these experiences are designed to bring families together while combining education, exploration, and plenty of fun. Many of our trips include optional activities, allowing families to participate for just the day or enjoy the entire adventure together.

Each event is offered as an individual registration, so you can choose the experiences that best fit your family's schedule and interests. Unless otherwise noted, lodging, meals, and transportation are arranged independently by each family, giving everyone the flexibility to travel in the way that works best for them. Check the calendar below to see what adventures are coming next—we can't wait to explore with you!

Our home base is made possible through the incredible generosity of our host farm, and we're excited to offer even more opportunities for families to enjoy this beautiful property throughout the year. In addition to our homeschool programs, families can register for private horseback riding lessons, piano lessons, and ukulele lessons offered by talented instructors right here on the farm. These opportunities are scheduled individually through our Appointments page, making it easy to find a time that works for your family.

We also believe in giving back to those who so generously support our homeschool community. Throughout the year we'll host Farm Work Days, where families can volunteer together on projects that help care for the property we all enjoy. Opportunities may include gardening and planting, lawn and trail maintenance, barn organization, interior cleaning, animal care, seasonal projects, and many other ways to lend a helping hand. Whether you have an hour or an afternoon to spare, these work days are a wonderful opportunity to serve, connect with other families, and help ensure this special place continues to thrive for years to come.
