About Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group
Our History and Future
Kindred Spirits Homeschool Enrichment Group was founded in 2023 by a local family seeking deeper connection and meaningful opportunities within the homeschool community. Realizing that options in the Dahlonega area were limited, they set out to create something new—a welcoming, inclusive space where families of all backgrounds could come together to learn, grow, and belong.
What began as a small effort to fill a local need has quickly grown into a vibrant, family-centered network serving Dahlonega and the surrounding areas. Today, Kindred Spirits is proud to offer a wide variety of programs designed to support, inspire, and connect homeschool families through every stage of their journey.
Our calendar includes recurring enrichment classes that bring learning to life for students of all ages, along with one-time events like our annual Summer Blast and Fall Hoedown that build community and create lasting memories. We also offer leadership and service opportunities through our local chapters of the National Beta Club and 4-H Cloverbud Group, helping students grow in confidence, compassion, and character.
Events are open to all homeschoolers in PreK through 12th grade, as well as homeschool-friendly organizations and businesses who share our mission of inclusive, accessible learning.
As we look to the future, Kindred Spirits remains committed to growing with purpose—expanding our programs, building new partnerships, and continuing to create spaces where every child and family feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
